Who we are
You're probably leaving money on the table.
I did for years, with 2025 prices that might be hard to understand.
My name is Mark Beach, and for 41 years, my wife, Carla and I have been working on improving the genetics of our cows.
Growing up, my father used to say, "We can buy meat cheaper than we can make it." He wasn't wrong, but he wasn't entirely right either. We were selling our calves to pay the bills and eating the lower-value cuts from the store. There was no realization of the genetic value of what we were raising. We were selling our profit potential at wholesale and buying our dinner at retail.
This is the cycle that traps many family farms. You become a price-taker, not a price-maker.
That realization is why Beach House Beef exists. I decided to break the cycle. In 1984 we started using the available technology to improve and retain our genetics.
We Don't Just Sell Semen. We Sell A Predictable Future.
For nine years, I didn't just raise cattle; I owned and operated "Beach House," a farm-to-table restaurant. I didn't just see my product in the pasture; I saw it on the plate and looked the customer in the eye. I learned what makes a steak unforgettable and how to build a product that commands a premium.
That experience is now codified in our genetics.
For Producers: We provide elite genetics, like our "Matradon Legacy Project," designed to do one thing: produce a higher-valued calf. We give you the tools to stop being a price-taker and start building a business that is profitable and sustainable, no matter what the market does.
For Consumers: You're tired of the mystery meat at the grocery store. You want to know where your food comes from and that it was raised with integrity. We are building a network of producers who use our genetics to bring you beef that is a result of generations of experience and a relentless focus on quality.
This Isn't Just a Business. It's a Legacy.
My son continues this mission with his "Beach House Meats" food trailer, proving the value of our genetics directly to the community. Our family name—Beach Family Farms—is on the land and on the food.
The "Beach House Beef" YouTube channel is where I document this entire journey—the wins, the losses, and the lessons learned.
Welcome to Beach House Beef. Let's build a better future for the beef industry, together.
